Mountain View

Maximum guest count: 50

Also known as mountain meadows, this is our newest and most requested ceremony site. It’s a short, two-minute drive from the main venue. Feast your eyes on rolling meadows that lead toward the mountain view. Sometimes you can even watch my sister’s horses in the valley below!

The level ceremony site is a short walk from the parking area, but there’s room to park one car right next to it. The main parking area has room for up to 10 cars. Wedding arbors include a hexagon, a triangle or a cross, and our coordinator will also place up to 50 dark wooden folding chairs for you. The chairs are stored in a shed that resembles a fallen log from a fantasy novel, making it the perfect prop for more wedding photos.

After getting ready at the dressing areas on our lower grounds, I’ll lead a car pool to this beautiful ceremony site and help everyone get situated and seated. The coordinator will further arrange your wedding party and ceremony. The DJ included in your package uses portable speakers for ceremony music at this site. The best lighting at this ceremony site is 3 to 4 hours prior to sunset. Your guests will sit in the shade during these hours. Expect your guests to sit in the sun at all other times of day, which is typical at most mountain view ceremony sites in the Smoky Mountains.

If It Rains:
You can quickly and easily change your ceremony site to our Creekside Pavilion if your guest count is over 50 people, or to the wedding chapel upstairs if the guest count is 40 people or fewer. You can always return to the mountain view site later with your photographer for photos. I’ll work closely with our coordinator included in your wedding package to watch the weather and be ready for “plan B” at a moment’s notice.
